ABOUT
JEFF & TRICIA SPURGEON

Born and raised in Great Falls, Montana, Jeff Spurgeon has always had a passion for fitness and health. After graduating from CMR High School, Jeff went on to earn his BS in Sports Medicine and Fitness Management from George Fox University, where he also played college basketball. His love for exercise and wellness led him into the fitness industry, where he’s made a lasting impact for over 30 years.
Jeff founded and operated his own training facility, employing over 10 trainers and serving countless clients. He played a key role in developing and managing the training program at the Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, and brought personal training to executives and employees in various corporate settings. His experience and leadership in these roles have shaped his approach to creating a perfect balance of fitness and wellness for his clients.
His wife, Tricia Spurgeon, has been an integral part of this journey. With a BS in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition, Tricia has been a personal trainer and group exercise instructor for many years. She taught a variety of group fitness classes and led outdoor bootcamp programs. Tricia also oversaw and ran several Nutrition and Weight Management programs in different gyms. As their family grew with the addition of their three boys, Tricia gradually moved into the administrative side of the business, managing bookkeeping, payroll, and operations.
Together, Jeff and Tricia opened Body Balance in Portland in 1999, running the business successfully until 2021. Their experience, professionalism, and dedication to helping others achieve their fitness goals are what make their studio truly special.
In 2020, Jeff and Tricia returned to Great Falls, excited to bring their professionalism and expertise back to the Montana community. Together, they raised three boys in Oregon, but Montana’s welcoming atmosphere and natural beauty called them home. When you step into their studio, you’ll immediately feel the welcoming and motivating environment they’ve worked hard to create. Jeff and Tricia listen closely to your goals, offering the personalized support and expert guidance you need to find balance and reach your full potential in fitness and wellness.
